About This Cause

At just 8 years old, Yuvraj Singh has already been through more medical challenges than most children his age. Born into a financially struggling family, Yuvraj has been living with a heart condition since childhood and now needs to undergo his second heart surgery. Yuvraj’s heart condition was first discovered in 2018, when he fell ill and was admitted to Gorakhnath Hospital in Gorakhpur. Doctors identified a serious heart problem and advised the family to seek specialized treatment. After being referred to different hospitals, Yuvraj eventually reached AIIMS, New Delhi, where he underwent his first cardiac surgery in 2018.

Following the surgery, Yuvraj’s health remained stable for several years. He was able to return to his normal routine and enjoy his childhood with his family. However, during a recent follow-up examination at AIIMS, doctors found a recurrent cardiac problem and advised another surgery. The estimated cost of his treatment is around ₹60,000 advised Yuvraj to undergo another heart surgery. The surgery was scheduled for 9 September 2026, giving the family hope that Yuvraj would soon receive the treatment he urgently needs.

But there is one painful barrier standing between Yuvraj and his surgery — money.

Yuvraj's father, Mr. Amit Singh, is a daily wage labourer and the sole source of income for the family. Yuvraj is the eldest son. Despite his limited and irregular income, his father managed to arrange ₹10,000 towards the treatment.However, the total amount required is approximately ₹60,000. The family is still short of ₹50,000, and because they cannot arrange the remaining amount, they have been unable to admit Yuvraj for his surgery.
