About This Cause

Little Arslan Ali is just 1 year and 11 months old. At this tender age, when a child should be learning to walk and speak, Arslan is fighting a serious heart condition. Doctors at AIIMS have advised a surgical procedure to correct his heart defect. The estimated cost for the surgery is ₹60,000. For Arslan’s father, Saif Ali, this amount is impossible to arrange.

Saif Ali is a daily wage labourer working in the fields of Bihar. He earns only when there is work available, and his income barely covers food and basic survival for the family. Some days he returns home with ₹300–400, and some days with nothing at all.

Today, this father is standing helpless in hospital corridors, holding his child in one hand and medical reports in the other.

He has no savings.

He has no land of his own.

He only has hope.
